What do the dates on the quote mean?

Three dates are given on each quotation:

  1. The "Payment Due Date": If payment is received by this date the project will be completed at the basic rate.

  2. The "Expedite Date": As of this date unusual effort will be needed to complete the project by the Drawing Due Date.  The Expedite Fee covers overtime and other inefficiencies caused by the shortened production time.

  3. The "Expiration Date" is the last day QuickDraw will accept a project if full payment is made including expedite fees.  After this date it will not be possible to complete the project by the Drawing Due Date.

Late or inadequate payments will be promptly returned to the point of origin less processing fees and will result in rejection of the project in its entirety.

How are the dates calculated?

Dates are calculated as a function of project size plus shipping time.  Bigger projects require more time to complete.  Payment Due Dates, Expedite Dates and Expiration Dates are calculated to allow for sufficient production times.
